asking my mom about the pill

i don't think this should be inappropriate, its girly ..
How on earth is a 16 year old daughter supposed to ask her mother about going on the pill ?
She had the 'talk with me' and she said 'anytime you need to just ask' . umm yeah SURE, it's not that simple . i just wanna be safe and do the grownup thing but i don't want her to think differently of me ..

She's told you to just ask, probably because she knows it's hard for you to ask her, but she's obviously already come around to the idea of you having sex, because she's already talked to you about it.
Easier said than done, but just pluck up the courage + go for it.
