My 1st poem- Only *Him*- Let me kno what you think

Only *Him*

The one that words just can’t describe,
And you never want to leave his side,
Is the one you love so true,
Let me know if this makes sense to you.

As you scribble them little hearts its him you have in mind,
In actual fact he’s there all the time.
He walks in to a crowded room, you catch his glaze,
His gleaming blue eyes catching the light.


He is walking towards you what do you do?
Fix your hair of course or apply a little lip-gloss.
He is getting closer you smile your best Hollywood smile,
But he walks on by!

Your cheeks burn red,
Does anyone notice?
Is it anger or embarrassment that lump in your throat?
Only last week you both where so close

He held you and kissed you, all sweetness and light,
But who where you kidding it was just for one night!
Before it began you knew it would never last,
Who were you fooling? Only yourself.

Your friends they think they understand,
But you turn and they whisper, “I knew he was a player!”
They try to set you up with some other guy,
Don’t they get it I want Only Him!

Here is another poem I have written:

Cupid’s December 12th

One lonely winter night round December 12,
Cupid sat and reflected on the happy couples he had seen.
Some of each couples he bought together himself,
He smiled as he saw his bow and arrow up high on his shelf.
Some young, some small,
Some old, some tall
Boredom took over and he headed to bed,
But just then an idea popped into his head.
It wasn’t Valentines Day but he didn’t care,
It was nearly Christmas so there was plenty of love to share.
So set to work fixing up his bow,
With I flap of his wings he was ready to go.
In the crisp night sky he heard music below,
And decided to go in to escape from the snow.
He swooped down into the dimly lit assembly hall,
Everyone seemed to be having a ball.
He scanned the hall to find out who his first victims would be,
To honest it wasn’t that hard to see.
A friend was already holding mistletoe overhead,
She began to walk away but cupid couldn’t hear what she said.
He boy’s face fell and turned white like snow,
So cupid loaded his arrow and drew back the bow.
Cupid’s arrows never fail any time of the year,
Making couples hold each other near.
So you can imagine what happened as cupid turned to go,
And continued as cupid flew off into the snow.

Aww! I like that one too..yur a good writer! ..yah it is hard to get them outta yur head..unfortuntally (duno how to spell it lol) aww he fell in the snow! aww! keep writing!
